Why your gift is essential
We hold an agreement with the São Roque City Hall, but those funds only cover salaries, payroll charges and rent. Water, electricity, phone, cleaning and hygiene supplies, clothing, furniture, appliances and building maintenance come exclusively from our own resources: donations and events.

Donate money
One-time or monthly contributions fund food baskets, cooking gas, transportation, and emergency repairs. Every R$120 (about USD equivalent) puts a basket on a family's table.
Buy handicrafts
Buying items made by Mãos Solidárias mothers and volunteers generates direct income for families and keeps the project running.
Volunteer
Literacy classes, craft workshops, dental and eye care, administrative support, and event planning.
Cash donations
Cash donations can also be made directly to the PAS — Programa de Assistência Social bank account. Every R$120 (about USD equivalent) is a basic food basket on the table of a family in São Roque.
